Waterfront

Close to the centre of the town, Ipswich’s historic Waterfront has undergone an exciting renaissance. It's 'the' place to be.

Old Custom House

Built in 1845, the Old Custom House presides over the Wet Dock, which when it was opened in 1842 was the largest area of enclosed water of its kind in England.

Orwell Lady

A choice of two cruises, the Harwich Harbour Cruise (3 1/2 hours) or the Pin Mill Cruise (2 1/2 hours) explore the estuary and sail past stunning scenery and historical sites that border the river.
