IPSWICH LIGHTS UP FOR CHRISTMAS!

Snow flakes fell over the thousands of people who came out to support their local town launch the festive season.  Heart's Breakfast duo, Matt and Sarah accompanied Santa entertaining the masses as the Evening Star's giant Christmas tree illuminated the skies above the Cornhill.

Paul Clement, executive director of Ipswich Central, said: "Last night's event was a huge success. It was fantastic to see the smiles on children's faces as Santa brought Christmas to Ipswich. The ‘Five Nights of Christmas’ will continue over the next four weeks and shoppers can expect to see lots of seasonal activities within the town and really get in the Christmas spirit.”

Samantha Jenkins from Rendleham said; "It was one of the best Christmases I have been to, Ipswich have really done us proud I can't wait to see what else will be on the streets over the next few weeks."

This year's Christmas shopping nights take place on Thursday 26thNovember, and 3 rd, 10thand 17 thDecember.
