Ipswich goes Green, date announced for New Event

The Cornhill in Ipswich will be transformed into a green oasis on Sunday 30th March when Ipswich Central hosts its first ever Go Green Day.

From 11am until 4pm local businesses, charities and other organisations will all gather together to showcase green products, services and advice on how small changes can make a big difference to the environment.

As well as informative and fun stands, there will be a range of activities taking place at Ipswich Central’s environmentally friendly day. Children can take part in innovative green workshops, whilst families of all ages can enjoy the live entertainment.

“The Go Green event will be a fun packed day for all the family. We will be taking over the Cornhill with activities, displays, stalls and entertainment throughout the day – all of which will show visitors just how easy it is to become that little bit greener.” Paul Clement, Executive Director of Ipswich Central explained. “Being green can be fun, so I’d encourage everyone to visit us on Sunday 30th March to join in the festivities.”

Further details of the event will be announced closer to the event itself.
