IPSWICH FORUM GAINS NEW VICE CHAIR!

The Town Centre Forum is part of Ipswich Central, the not-for-profit, private-sector organisation that runs the Business Improvement District (BID). The Town Centre Forum is an elected group of town centre business representatives and meets to review the services that Ipswich Central provides, the impact and shape of activity that is supplied, and how any future actions will benefit the stakeholders within the Ipswich town centre district.

Emma will be supporting Dr Peter Funnell Chair of the Forum and Chief Executive of IDEA Ltd, and will be primarily responsible for acting as a conduit into Ipswich Central’s wider stakeholder audience. Together with her fellow committee members, she will be involved in ensuring that stakeholder feedback is considered and, where practical, adopted to enhance the BID environment.

Emma commented “I am very excited about taking on this role, and having the opportunityto work with Peter and the committee to bring the Town Centre Forum’s initiatives to realisation.”

Dr Funnell said:

“Emma was unanimously elected by the Forum to the new role of Vice Chair. She will bring a strong marketing steer to the Forum and the work of Ipswich Central, together with a passionate commitment to the further development of Ipswich as a premier retail, tourism and commercial centre and a great place to live”.
