Ipswich Central Presents Ipswich Sings

“Ipswich Sings” is an exciting Ipswich Central event to be held on Sunday 29June on the Cornhill. It is the town centre’s first singalong and playalong extravaganza and forms part of the opening day of Ip-art 2008. If you fancy yourself as a singer or orchestral instrument player, all you have to do is to come along to the rehearsal at 2.30 and give it a go!

The impromptu Chorus will sing favourites such as the Hallelujah Chorus and Nessun Dorma. The fledgling Orchestra will accompany the singers and perform masterpieces such as the William Tell Overture. The Orchestra will be conducted by Stephen Rumsey and the Chorus will be presided over by Mark Oldfield. We need an audience too, so whatever you musical aspirations are, do please come along on Sunday 29 June.
