Ipswich Central first six monthly audit

Ipswich Central recently received a vote of confidence from an independent auditor following it's first six monthly audit.

The audit was conducted by New Horizon ltd, who also advised the Ipswich BID team in formualting and promoting its proposals ahead of last year's vote. Chris Hollins, director of New Horizon said "Ipswich Central's approach is totally unique in the UK, where there are now some 52 BIDs in place. All BIDs commit to key perfomance indicators and most try to keep their sponsoring businesses up to date with their activities. However, none so far has taken the radical step of employing external independent expertise to scrutinise their work constantly, constructively criticise and keep the pressure up to do more, better, faster and with greater effort." The audit will continue to be conducted every six months and can be downloaded from this website.
