The spectacular Christmas light switch on will be the best and biggest featuring guaranteed snow, some awesome happenings and Cinderella surprises. One of the highlights in the Ipswich calendar is taking place on Sunday 18th November from 5pm on Cornhill. Park and Ride is free into town all day and many shops and attractions are open all day.

Late night shopping commences the following Thursday 22nd November which continues every Thursday evening until Christmas. Most shops stay open until 9pm.

Ipswich Central Executive Director, Paul Clement is getting into the Christmas spirit already! He said: “We are taking the Ipswich Christmas campaign to a new level this year as part of the BID’s commitment to a “better town centre”. There are many exciting surprises planned for the 18th November switch-on event and we have had up to 4,000 people on the Cornhill in previous years, so our advice is to get into town early.”
