Following the success of Saturday's Gyroscope event held on Cardinal Park, Ipswich Central if offering up a last chance today and tomorrow to get your 'fast track' ticket ahead of Sunday's world record breaking attempt.

On Arras Square from 11.30am until 2.30pm, everyone is being given the opportunity to prove they can yo-yo for two minutes in order to get a 'fast track' ticket. This ticket allows you to go to GATE A on Sunday 27th July where you will be able to take part in the big two minute yo-yo session in front of the Guinness Book of Records. If you want to make history then get yourself down to the Ipswich Central tent this afternoon and prove you have what it takes to be a record breaker!

The fun doesn't stop there! On Wednesday 23rd July from 1.30pm onwards, two record breakers will be on the Cornhill challenging themselves to set new records infront of a crowd of shoppers! Dean Gould from Felixstowe and Peter Dowdeswell from Northampton will be flipping beer matts blindfolded, balancing pints of larger on their elbows and gobbling down hot dogs and brussel sprouts in under a minute, do not miss the chance to see these records being smashed! You will also be able to get your free yo-yo and and 'fast track' ticket if you can show us that you have the yo-yo spinning skills to help break the world record on Sunday just come along to the Ipswich Central tent for more information.

Ipswich MP Chris Mole has entered into the yo-yo craze and will be bringing his family to the yo-yo world record breaking attempt. He has been out and about in the town practising his technique and commented: “The Ipswich Central Spin idea is great as it brings the community together which is good for Ipswich. It is good for the town to do something collectively, raising the profile of our town and hopefully assisting the businesses. I wish Ipswich Central luck and I hope to be there with my family!”
