Free Car Parking Commitment From Ipswich Central

Over 24,000 people have benefitted from the free car parking promotion in the first year of the Ipswich Central. The company has announced that the car parking offer is to be continued on the first Sunday of every month for the next twelve months with additional parking in November, December 2008 and January 2009.

Free parking is on this Sunday 4th May at NCP Cox Lane and Tacket Street sites from between 10am and 5pm. Visitors are being urged to get their cars parked in good time on Sunday as over 2,000 cars used the facility in April. In March a lucky family driving the 10,000th car into the car park received £500 cash to spend in Ipswich Central.

Paul Clement, Executive Director of Ipswich Central has set even higher targets for making Ipswich more accessible for Ipswich Central’s Year 2. “A major strand of improving our district is to encourage a wide cross-section of people to use Ipswich on a regular basis. The free parking initiative has proved to be very successful in Year 1. I am pleased to be able to commit to a further twelve months of free parking on the first Sunday of each month.”
