Family wins £500 cash for 10,000th car parked

Marion Osbourne, Chris Freeman and their children Christian and Thomas Freeman were the lucky winners of £500 cash for simply parking their car in the middle of Ipswich. To celebrate the 10,000th car parked free since last May, Ipswich Central decided to give away £500 cash to the lucky car owner. Free car parking is available on the first Sunday of every month at the NCP car parks at Cox Lane and Tacket Street.

Paul Clement, Executive Director of Ipswich Central said that this cash incentive brought more people than ever into town. Paul remarked: “Free parking benefits both those visiting the town centre and people already using Ipswich regularly. We are very positive about making our town centre more accessible by providing free parking for the first Sunday every month.”
