There is a new special on the menu at Pizza Express in town – yo-yo and basil pizza! Hundreds of yo-yos have been delivered to Pizza Express in Lloyds Avenue and they are now being handed out to customers. Ipswich Central have distributed thousands of yo-yos around Ipswich town centre ahead of the exciting world record breaking attempt to take place in The Cornhill on 27th July at 2.30pm.
Claire Castle from Ipswich Central has been spinning around town handing out red yo-yos. “Everyone is so up for the concept and practicing like mad. Patrick Ballanger, the manager of Pizza Express has been, like most people in town, very helpful in promoting the Spin project. We have got loads of people signed up to be part of the world record attempt which is great but we need more and anyone can register at www.ipswichcentral.com We want everyone to get practising!”
Yo-yos are also available at The New Wolsey Theatre, the Evening Star offices in Lower Brook Street, The Tourist Information Centre in St Stephens Lane, Debenhams on Tavern Street, The Entertainer on Carr Street, Mannings on the Cornhill, The Swan on King Street, All Fired Up on Crown on Anchor Mews, Hakins Bazaar in the Buttermarket shopping centre and Vodafone, Supercuts and Partners Stationery in Tower Ramparts shopping centre until stocks last.
