Bus/Park & Ride

Ipswich Park & Ride
Three convenient Park & Ride services operate in Ipswich. London Road, from the junction of the A12 / A14, South West of the town. Bury Road, from the junction of the A14 / A1156, North West of the town and Martlesham from A12 North East of the town. All have connections every 10 minutes to the town centre (Monday to Saturday 7.00am to 7.00pm).

For the next few months, visitors to the centre of Ipswich can benefit from Free use of Park and Ride facilities on the third Sunday of every month, at all three Park and Ride sites.

Ipswich Free Shuttle Bus
There is a free shuttle bus service running every 20 minutes from 7.15am ? 7.15pm Monday to Friday. It operates every 10 minutes between 12.00pm & 2.00pm. With stops located around town centre, including bus stations - Old Cattle Market and Tower Ramparts. The service also interchanges with other bus services including the Park & Ride.

Ipswich Buses (Tower Ramparts) and First Bus and Coach Station (Cattle Market) are both conveniently situated in the town centre adjacent to the main pedestrianised area.

Ipswich?s Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the town centre, with quick access to the football ground.

The station has a modern, secure multi-storey car park, with parking available for disabled users.

The front of the station has space to set down and pick up, where a taxi rank can also be found. Parking at the station is free to blue badge holders.
