Bistro on the Quay is idyllically situated in a former salt warehouse overlooking the marina, on the historic waterfront of Ipswich. Ideally placed in the centre of the Waterfront Regeneration area with its art galleries, hotels and coffee shops, it is a short walk from the town centre shops, theatres and railway station.
The restaurants warm and contemporary interior offers an informal and relaxed dining atmosphere, where the emphasis is on good service with fine food and wine at sensible prices.
A varied choice of menus is on offer with both fixed price and a la carte menus available each day and a special lunch menu available Monday to Saturday. Since fresh local produce is a speciality look out for local asparagus, East Anglian cheese, Cromer crab, Gressingham duck, local rarebreed pork sausages, and of course during the season a variety of game.
